This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our Slack Application ("App"). By installing or using Supporty, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Data We Collect
We collect legitimate data necessary to provide our customer support integration services. This includes:
- Slack User Data: User IDs, team IDs, and basic profile information (name, avatar) to identify support agents and customers within Slack.
- Messages & Content: We process messages sent to the Supporty bot or designated support channels solely to route them to your support dashboard and facilitate replies.
- Metadata: Timestamps and channel names associated with support tickets.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- To facilitate two-way communication between Slack and your customer support dashboard.
- To authenticate users and verify team permissions.
- To generate performance metrics (e.g., response times, ticket volume) for your internal use.
- To improve the functionality and reliability of our App.
We do NOT use your data to train Large Language Models (LLMs) or for any advertising purposes.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services.
- Active Tickets: Retained while the ticket is open or recently resolved for history.
- Logs: Technical logs are retained for 30 days for debugging purposes, then permanently deleted.
5. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.
We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.
We do not share your Slack message data with any third parties except:
- Service Providers: Cloud hosting providers (e.g., Vercel, AWS) that facilitate our infrastructure, bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Compliance: If required by law or to protect our rights.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. Our App uses encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data in transit and secure database storage for data at rest.
7. Your Rights & Data Deletion
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data.
Procedure for Data Deletion Requests:
To request the deletion of your data, please send an email to growwithsteven@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Please include your Slack Team ID or workspace name in the email body. We will process your request and delete your data within 30 days.
